Good skin all over:

Another workshop that generated a lot of interest was Held by Mumbai-based dermatologist doctor. The talk involved lessons on how one needs to take care of every part of one’s body. Doctor said, ‘we tend to pay a lot of attention to our face and neck, paying only secondary attention to the rest of our body part. This is not a healthy practice as we need to have good skin all over to feel confident and beautiful.’

Doctor educated the audience on rituals that one must follow while bathing-doctor said that one must never use loofahs –synthetic or otherwise-even though they are widely recommended by beauty care brands, as they tend to rob one’s body of all natural moisture and make your skin rough in the long run. Doctor did a general survey of how many women in the audience moisturised their thighs regularly; much to everyone’s surprise, there were not more than five women in the crowd who followed this regime! Doctor then said that it was a general misconception that because some parts of the body are covered most of the times, they don’t need moisturising.

‘Eat healthy food; drink lots of water. Water is the best antioxidant and keeps your body supple,’ doctor said. Five glasses of water in a day should be made must-have lukewarm water if possible, it also dissolve those colaris faster. ‘Indian skin is considered to be one of the best in the world. It doesn’t take much to maintain it. Don’t just be face-beautiful. Take care of your body and be beautiful all over,’ finished doctor.
