Folic acid, occasionally called folate, is a B vitamin. Repeated studies have shown that women, who add to their ingestion of folic acid when their baby having spina bifida or a new neural tube defect. Spina bifida occurs when one or extra bones of the back fail to expand generally, resulting in spoil to the spinal cord and the nerves, with varying effects. The best way to decrease the possibility of your baby having such troubles is to take an addition of 400 micrograms folic acid each day. Folic acids are also found in verdant green vegetables, orange sap and supplement grains.
